Role Summary
Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to play a pivotal role in our ATC navigation and communication systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine and reactive maintenance tasks, using Defence maintenance systems to log and manage tasks, responding to operational needs, working independently to diagnose faults, certifying maintenance, and supporting system integration.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong communication skills.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to complete OEM training (including travel) to support system readiness.
* Routine and Reactive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on ATC navigation and communication systems, ensuring they are functioning optimally.
* Defence Maintenance Systems: Utilize Defence maintenance systems to log and manage tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
* Operational Needs: Respond promptly to operational needs, providing effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to services.
* Fault Diagnosis: Work independently to diagnose faults, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Maintenance Certification: Certify maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* System Integration: Support system integration, ensuring seamless operation of ATC navigation and communication systems.
* OEM Training: Complete OEM training (including travel) to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting system readiness.
