Our CommSee Crew is at the heart of transforming how we serve customers across assisted channels. Their mission is to reimagine and modernise CommSee, the Bank’s core customer management platform into a cloud-based, intuitive experience that empowers frontline teams to deliver seamless, personalised service.
We’re now searching for a seasoned hands-on Technology Leader (Crew Tech Lead), with deep engineering expertise, to drive the next evolution of the core platforms for our CommSee Crew.
What You’ll Be Doing
Our Crew Tech Leads are technology innovators who love to build and lead high-performing teams and chapters, drive large scale tech transformations, and build complex, scalable and reliable systems.
Define and own the Crew’s technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and modernisation strategies. Lead the next evolution of our AI‑powered engineering practices, embedding intelligent automation, code generation, and data‑driven insights to accelerate delivery, uplift code quality, and transform engineering velocity.Stay deeply connected to the craft, contributing hands‑on to solution design, architecture, and engineering problem‑solving, setting the benchmark for technical excellence across the Crew.Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of all technology assets across production and pre-production environments. Remove technical blockers by decoupling applications, streamlining processes, and enabling autonomous delivery at pace. Manage technology risks, reduce technical debt, and optimise total cost of ownership for both run and change activities. Lead and develop engineering capability by coaching and mentoring engineers, fostering innovation, and embedding modern practices such as DevSecOps and AI-driven automation.
