Remuneration: $36.50 – $37.23 per hour (plus superannuation and salary packaging options)

Location: Orange, NSW

Hours per week: 32

Administration Officer – Telephonist

About the role

The Telephonist is a key frontline role within Orange Hospital, responsible for providing a professional and courteous telephone service for the hospital, staff, patients, and the wider community.

* Provide a professional and courteous telephone service for the hospital, staff, patients and the wider community.
* Ensure timely, accurate communication by receiving, directing and managing incoming and outgoing calls, and responding to enquiries in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
* Work in the switchboard area, supporting all departments across Orange Hospital and contributing to patient safety.
* Work shifts that include evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
* Coordinate with team members to deliver appropriate responses to stakeholders.
