The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter for a position based in either our Blackwater or our Mackay office. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage the full recruitment cycle, and deliver quality candidates across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Full Recruitment Cycle Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection to onboarding.
* Database Management: Maintain all employee records in the HRM system including monitoring the validity of licences and qualifications.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to understand recruitment needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source and attract quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
* Interviewing and Assessments: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization.
* Offer Negotiation: Prepare and present job offers to selected candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at improving recruitment processes and strategies, ensuring we remain competitive and efficient in the market.
* Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics, leveraging data to inform strategies and improve outcomes.
What you'll bring
* High Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Strong focus on details to ensure quality in the recruitment process.
* Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to engage, listen, and establish strong relationships with clients and candidates.
* Relevant Work History: 2+ years proven experience in a similar role.
* Expertise in Compliance and HR: Knowledge in compliance and human resources is highly regarded.
* Systems Focus: Strong systems thinking with diligence to follow processes and improve efficiency.
* Flexibility and Reliability: Adaptable and dependable, able to handle changing demands.
* Team Commitment: Willingness to work collaboratively with the team to achieve superior business outcomes.
* Exceptional communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
* Competency in Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
* Valid Driver's Licence: Must hold a current driver's licence to facilitate travel as required.
