**The Role**
The successful applicant will use approved processes and data, relevant technical domain knowledge, industry experience and on the job training to provide technical sustainment support services within required timeframes through:
- Assessment, prioritisation and processing of technical information/requests; and
- Communication of resultant avionics-systems (electrical) or airframe-engines (mechanical) desktop technical assessments and/or output documents.
The US Navy (USN) is a partner and significant contributor to MH-60R technical sustainment services. The successful applicant will be required to work through their team lead with USN counterparts to ensure timely delivery of technical information used in support of technical assessments and/or output documents and responses.
**About our Team**
The Technical/Engineering Services and Support Unit (TESSU) Romeo & Design (R&D;) team is part of the core Engineering Design and Technical support organisation within NASPO.
Our primary role is the conduct of MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopter Military Type Certificate Holder (MTCH) functions and agreed MH-60R CAMO and MAO Technical Support Services.
We are a diverse team made up of APS, ADF, US Navy and contractors, all driven to ensure both the airworthiness and mission readiness of the RAN's MH-60R Seahawk Romeo Helicopter fleet and the safety of its aviators and aircraft maintenance staff.
