Agribusiness Business Development Manager | WA & SA
Join to apply for the Agribusiness Business Development Manager role at Bendigo Bank. This role focuses on deepening broker relationships and growing the targeted agri commercial broker network across Western Australia and South Australia.
Responsibilities
* Proactively servicing brokers to drive growth within the Agri loan portfolios in your region.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with aggregator partners and accredited brokers.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the best solutions are delivered to brokers and customers.
* Engage in relationship building, problem solving, commission negotiation and broker education as part of a regular day.
* Facilitate webinars, and participate in PD days, conferences, and other marketing and training opportunities.
What you'll bring to the role
* Detailed knowledge of the Rural/Agri lending market across the state, with a solid understanding of the broker mindset.
* Proactive business development approach and high personal/professional resilience.
* Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to staff, brokers and aggregators.
* Comfortable with challenging conversations with brokers and credit decisions/outcomes.
* Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of agribusiness credit.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to large audiences.
* Solution-based mindset with the ability to work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
