Certified people person? Passionate about sharing good food? Mixing with community make you tick in the best way?
Same.
You might have the secret sauce we're looking for.
We're on the lookout for a Sales Representative who treasures community and growth as much as we do. As a member of our national independent accounts team, you'll be entrusted with connecting South Australia's independent grocers and retail stores with the stories (and flavours!) of an iconic local brand.
Want to know more about being a Beerenberg Sales Representative? Here's what it says on the jar:
* You'll be a champion for growth, actively nurturing existing accounts and forging new paths to independent customers who are a great fit for our products.
* You'll be pivotal in the success of new lines, getting our retail partners excited about what's new, promoting seasonal activity, and providing crucial instore merchandising support to make sure we stand out on the shelves.
* You'll be a data detective, maintaining accurate customer data and call cycles, and delivering timely reports that give us a clear picture of the market.
* You'll cultivate relationships with care, visiting our partners regularly, deepening connections, securing participation in promotions, and working to maximise our range.
* You'll be a team player, reporting to the National Independent Account Manager, bringing your ideas to the table, and contributing to a culture of continuous process improvement.
* You'll help expand our footprint across our customer base, stepping in as business needs evolve and turning new opportunities into lasting growth.
Now, for your own ingredients list. You'll be the right person for this role if you:
* Have 2-3 years of tried and tested sales and account management experience in the field of supermarkets and independent retailers.
* Know the supermarket and retail landscape like the back of your hand. Got food manufacturing exposure? Bonus!
* Can connect with customers in your sleep, up selling and cross selling with ease.
* Have strong time management skills and approach challenges with flexibility and a can-do attitude.
* Have a handle on MS Office software.
* Click with people naturally, communicating with clarity and mixing seamlessly into the Beerenberg family.
* Consider yourself a self-starter, but also find satisfaction in collaborating with a small, dynamic team.
* Love, love, love all things food, flavour and South Australian, Beerenbergy goodness.
"Sounds good, but what makes working at Beerenberg so sweet?"
At Beerenberg, we're a family business through and through (have been since we used Grandma's pan to make our very first batch of strawberry jam!) and we firmly believe that a happy team means happy customers.
We've spent decades perfecting the recipe for workplace satisfaction and we're proud to say a number of Beerenberg team members have been with us for decades - you might even recognise some of their names that feature on our jars!
If we could bottle the thing that makes Beerenberg great, our team would be the secret sauce. We'd love to have you join the mix.
Apply today. Applications close 5pm, Tuesday 24th March 2026.
Please note, we may fill this role before the advertised closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
