This newly created executive leadership role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of the service division, improving operational performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience across manufacturing, commissioning, and long-term asset support. The Opportunity In this critical leadership position, you’ll drive the end-to-end service and delivery function, spanning customer service, project execution, quality assurance, and maintenance. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading the Field Service, Quality Control, and Customer Operations teams, you’ll build the systems, processes, and culture needed to achieve outstanding performance at every stage of the BESS product lifecycle. Your key focus will include: Delivering a seamless, customer-centric service experience Upholding the highest standards of quality in manufacturing and field operations Developing scalable service offerings, systems, and maintenance programs Leading with integrity across compliance, people, and business strategy Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end service and customer delivery for commercial BESS projects Design and implement service-level agreements (SLAs), maintenance plans, and commissioning protocols Build and empower cross-functional teams of electricians, engineers, and service professionals Drive vendor and supplier performance across logistics, spare parts, and training Manage customer relationships and develop analytics/reporting dashboards Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) practices Innovate with software, remote monitoring, and diagnostic capabilities Transform the service division into a profitable, future-ready business unit About You You are a seasoned and inspiring leader with a deep blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen. You’re passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while embedding robust systems and scalable processes in a high-growth, clean-tech environment. You bring: 10 years’ experience in service operations, including 5 years in clean tech or energy storage Strong leadership in commissioning, maintenance, and quality control Proven ability in P&L, commercial strategy, and vendor management Solid understanding of Australian grid operations, HSEQ frameworks, and ISO-certified environments A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience Why This Role?
