Are you a skilled technician with experience in maintaining and repairing tower cranes? We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Tower Crane Technician.
About the Role:
* Maintain and repair tower cranes to ensure they operate safely and efficiently
* Carry out regular servicing, inspections, and maintenance tasks
* Troubleshoot issues with crane components and systems
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend to breakdowns on various crane brands and models
* Carry out scheduled servicing, inspections, and maintenance
* Troubleshoot errors on different crane types
* Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and remote control systems
* Inspect rope, hook, and chain assemblies, reporting any damage or safety issues
* Conduct visual inspections and condition reports on tower crane components
* Climb tower cranes using top climbers and external climbing frames
* Refurbish tower cranes and assess motors in the field
Requirements:
* Electrical Licence
* Current Drivers licence
* Sound technical understanding of Cranes or similar equipment
* At least 3 years of similar employment preferred
