This is a permanent part-time role, working 4 days per week; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.As our new editor, you'll support the production team in the post-production phase across a variety of client projects.
You'll be working closely with the Post-Production Lead and the Lead Co-ordinator, contributing to edits for corporate communications, social media, online courses, event coverage and more.You will be working from our centrally located South Melbourne office with a wonderful community of like-minded people, along with outstanding amenities such as end of trip for riding into work, gym, community lunches and events, quiet rooms and collaborative meeting spaces.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit a variety of video content including interviews, event highlights, promotional clips and educational contentPerform light retouching and processing of still images as neededWork with supplied brand assets to add titles, logos, and other motion graphics (where applicable)Organise and manage media files within our post-production workflowCollaborate with the Post-Production Lead to deliver content that meets client expectations and deadlinesMake revisions based on internal and client feedbackEnsure final deliverables are correctly exported, formatted and sharedWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years of professional experience in video editingProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential)Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (essential)Good photo editing/retouching skills (Lightroom and Photoshop)Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flowExcellent organisational and time management skillsA collaborative mindset, comfortable taking direction, asking questions, and contributing ideasAbility to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlinesExperience in the education or corporate sector is a bonusWe'd like to see what you can doPlease send 3-4 examples of your video editing work such as talking heads with b-roll, event highlight videos etc.Why Join Us?
