Cancer Care Nursing Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be working closely with Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based nursing services to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Practice according to NSW Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.
* Offer holistic nursing care, conduct thorough patient assessments, and refer for optimal patient outcomes.
* Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
* Work collaboratively with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
* Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* 12 months of oncology experience is preferred.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers.
* Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective care planning and coordination skills.
* Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
