IPC is a service provider in the Industrial, Infrastructure, Defence and Mining industries, offering a full range of services including Mechanical, Building, Electrical, Fabrication, Access and Project Management.
We have recently expanded and are currently in our growth era, and as such we require an experienced Estimator/Contracts Manager/Scheduler to manage the successful tendering and delivery of projects across our business.
Requirements;
* Prepare full tender submissions to a high standard, including but not limited to detailed estimates, materials, labour & equipment requirements, and overhead costs.
* Drive commercial negotiations and coordinate technical and legal input to achieve the best cost, risk and value outcome for the business
* Prepare and coordinate the subcontract components required for tender submissions.
* Obtain highly competitive quotes for the provision of necessary materials and services.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, cost factors, and technical methods
* Evaluate and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with projects.
* Build and sustain effective relationships with clients, suppliers and all key stakeholders
Skills and Experience;
* Demonstrated estimating, contract management or senior procurement experience within the Industrial, Infrastructure, Defence and Mining or similar industries
* Highly developed communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with external and internal clients
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documents
* Strong commercial acumen, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Solid computer and systems capabilities
