The HMA Group is an international engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the supply of; wear resistant lining solutions, material handling equipment, boiler cleaning equipment and services, process instrumentation and valve solutions. Our wide range of equipment and services are used across all industries including mining, power generation, industrial, petrochemical, oil and gas, process, water and wastewater.
We are seeking a motivated draftsperson, to support the greater HMA Wear Solutions team across the mining and industrial sectors. As a market leader in this field we have been supplying and manufacturing specialised ceramic wear resistant linings and systems in Australia for over 40 years. An integral part of our ability to supply to our clients is the site measuring and drafting for manufacturing.
THE ROLE
Working within the team in our Mackay office and reporting to the Drafting Manager, the key objectives of this position will be to support the greater sales team in all aspects of drafting to produce both sales related concepts and manufacturing drawings suitable for production.
This is a position for somebody who desires increased challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to introduce new ideas.
ABOUT YOU
Ideal candidates shall possess the following skills and attributes;
* 2-3 years drafting experience minimum
* Experienced in the use of Inventor; highly regarded
* Piping Experience; highly regarded
* Experienced in 3D drafting using Faro laser scanning equipment; highly regarded
* Highly Motivated & Enthusiastic
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Possess strong computer skills around the Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent time management
* Ability to work autonomously
In addition you may be required to visit sites with the sales team to assist in taking all necessary measurements to produce manufacturing drawings.
