MS Dynamics Software Engineer (Developer) - Canberra (Onsite, 5 Days)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Software Engineer to join a high performing team delivering development and sustainment services across a complex ICT environment. You will play a key role supporting and enhancing an established CRM and SmartIQ solution, working within an agile delivery setting.
This is a 12 month initial contract with strong extension options, based onsite in Canberra.

* Start date: Late June 2026
* Duration: 12 months with 2 x 12 month extensions
* Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
* Working arrangement: 100 percent onsite, 5 days per week
* Security: Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance required
About the team
Join a Software Development team responsible for the sustainment and continuous improvement of a long standing enterprise application built on Microsoft Dynamics and SmartIQ. The team operates in an agile environment and supports both project delivery and level 2 and 3 operational issues.
Key responsibilities
* Collaborate within agile teams, contributing as a flexible multidisciplinary team member
* Develop, configure and customise Microsoft Dynamics solutions
* Support ongoing system enhancements and sustainment activities
* Manage multiple tasks across a range of technologies in a fast paced environment
* Communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders and business areas
* Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and best practice development
* Deliver complex or time sensitive work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
Skills and experience required
* Minimum 3 years experience in Microsoft Dynamics development, including customisation and configuration
* Strong technical skills in .NET, C#, JavaScript and SQL Server
* Understanding of agile delivery methods such as Scrum or Kanban
* Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to manage complex tasks
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to work independently with limited direction
* Commitment to knowledge sharing and team capability uplift
Desirable
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications such as MB 200 or MB 400
* Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
