About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team.
As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure the efficient operation of the department and high standards of customer-oriented service are maintained.
* You will be responsible for managing the supervision of all areas of the Catering Team to support daily operations and running of the department.
The role requires prior experience working in a catering/hospitality environment, with demonstrated management and leadership skills. You will also have accreditation as a Food Safety Supervisor to be maintained as current.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage a team of chefs, kitchen hands, diet aides, staff cafeteria attendants, café staff and food services assistants.
* Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the department in line with required Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards and hospital policy.
* Ensure efficient operation of the catering team, maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns to the Catering Manager.
