**About the Role**
As the Accounts Payable Officer at Tender Loving Care you will be part of the finance team supporting the project teams across the wider business. In this role you will have an opportunity to cross train in the accounts receivable function..
**Key responsibilities**:
- Accounts Payable Duties:
- Enter Payable Invoices into Xero
- Enter Direct Debits & Bpay into Xero
- Reconcile Staff Corporate cards
- Prepare Payment Schedule
- Check Supplier Invoices for invoice payment
- New Supplier added into Xero
- Adhoc reports as required
**Essential**
- Possess good knowledge in finance and accounting
- Tertiarty qualifitaction Accounting or Commerce degree
- 1-3 years practical work experience in AP role.
- Possess sound communication skills.
- Understanding of system implementation and design.
- Sound knowledge of NSW and Federal legislations, around tax, fair trade and NDIS guidelines.
- Awareness of the rights of people with intellectual disabilities and/or multiple disabilities;
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and contribute to team goal
- Advanced knowledge of accounting systems.
Desirable
- Previous experience in providing detailed reports.
- Previous experience with Xero
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Financial services: 1 year (preferred)
