About the Role
As a generalist role, you will work closely with management and staff to ensure a positive, inclusive, compliant, and engaging workplace environment. You will be involved in a range of projects throughout the year in addition to the core function of HR day-to-day:
* Providing advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
* Drive and advise on processes including recruitment, onboarding, and induction
* Support performance management and employee relations matters
* Coaching and upskilling appointed people managers
* Maintaining accurate employee records, HR documentation and systems
* Collaboration with the HSEQ team, contributing to workplace HSE initiatives
* Collaboration with the payroll and Finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance with people related matters
* Assisting with coordination and successful delivery of learning and development programs
* Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation and all relevant employment laws.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in a similar HR advisory or business partnering role
* Practical knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practice
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work with discretion, confidentiality, and a collaborative approach
* Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms
