Overview
As our Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation. This is a part‑time opportunity requiring 30 hours per week, with flexibility in working days and times.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, review, and verify incoming invoices; resolve discrepancies
* Assist in preparing payment runs
* Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable
* Process supplier invoices and perform reconciliations of specific suppliers
* Prepare and review credit card and fuel card reconciliations
* Manage rental property costs and records, including communication with stakeholders
* Upload and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Foster positive relationships with vendors and clients
* Assist with internal and external audit preparations
What we're looking for
* Certificate III in Accounting or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in an accounting or finance support role
* Strong understanding of accounts payable and reconciliation processes
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
