Job Opportunity: Formwork Carpenter
We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Formwork Carpenters to join our civil construction teams in QLD and VIC.
Our projects generally run from 3-6 months with crews moving from project to project, providing variety and ongoing work. The common scope of works would include the construction of mills, crushers, concrete thickeners, conveyor footings, stockyards, tunnels, power stations, and paste plants.
As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including steel fixing, concreting, and millwrighting. You will work alongside and assist other formwork carpenters, concreters, steel fixers, and operators to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
* Perform a range of tasks including steel fixing, concreting, and millwrighting
* Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals
* Participate in site induction and comply with safety procedures
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
* Earthmoving tickets and all-round experience in steel fixing, concrete advantageous
* Clean National Police Clearance or ability to obtain
* Manual C Class Driver's License
* HR license preferred but not essential
* White Card
* Willingsness to undergo a coal mine pre-employment medical and LAB Drug and Alcohol testing prior to start work and ongoing during employment
