Overview
We are currently working with a leading major infrastructure business who are seeking a commercial lawyer to join their telecommunications team for a 6 month contract.
The role reports to the General Counsel, providing commercial and operational support, including advising on bids for tenders and projects. You will also provide legal guidance on commercial transactions, infrastructure, and construction matters.
Responsibilities
* Provide commercial, operational, and bid support across competitive tenders and digital infrastructure projects, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating design, construction, and maintenance agreements.
* Support major projects, including subcontract drafting and negotiation.
* Advise leadership on contractual and regulatory risks, including safety and environmental matters.
* Contribute to innovation projects leveraging AI and legal technology to improve service delivery.
* Manage dispute resolution strategies, including claims with customers, subcontractors, and third parties.
About You
* Ideally have 10+ years' PQE in ideally with prior in-house experience gained in either construction / infrastructure, telecommunications or strong commercial contracts.
* Strong major projects experience
* Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable in a high-growth environment
* Large-scale capital project exposure highly regarded
