Landfill Litter Collector Position
This is a full-time role within the Waste Services team, supporting safe and efficient landfill operations, including waste management, bin deliveries, litter collection, and transfer station duties.
About The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic individual to play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of Council landfills. This position involves operating plant and equipment in compliance with waste management legislation and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
* Transfer Station and Weighbridge Attendant duties
* Litter collection and bin deliveries
* Rural Transfer Station operations
Requirements
* A current Driver's Licence endorsed HR truck (National)
* Hold or willing to obtain an Excavator, Front End Loader and Compactor Certificate of Competency within twelve months
* Knowledge of landfill and transfer station operations, including the use of landfill plant and equipment
* Knowledge of OH&S practices and principles associated with landfill and transfer station operations
* A current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment
