About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary leader to shape and deliver the Victorian Government's technology strategy.
The Chief Information Officer, Technology Strategy will play a pivotal whole-of-government leadership role in shaping and delivering the Victorian Government's technology strategy.
This role requires a senior executive with experience in working at a senior level to shape business strategy and promote innovation and improvement.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in delivering technology and transformation outcomes that align with business strategy.
They will also have proven experience and capacity to identify and address emerging infrastructure, network and platform issues through high-level conceptual analysis, risk management and providing advice to senior stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
The ideal candidate will have effective influencing, negotiation and relationship-management skills in an environment requiring highly developed interpersonal skills, and a proven capacity for highly effective communication with a range of government and non-government stakeholders.
They will also have effective people management skills and experience to support and create the conditions for highly-functioning, productive and engaged teams.
