Description
The Department of Medicine at the Mackay Base Hospital are looking for an Advanced Trainee Registrar - General Medicine to join their team on a Temporary Full-Time (76 hrs p.f.) basis for 12 months with a possibility of extension.
Remuneration value up to $172,342 p.a. comprising salary between $4,966.90 p.f. - $5,758.70 p.f. (L4-L9)
Your opportunity
* To advance your practice in general medicine through exposure to an exciting case mix in a supportive environment under the supervision of a collaborative unit of Specialists.
* To work closely with and learn from a wide array of Specialists with an extensive breadth of expertise.
* To develop the clinical leadership skills required to practice as an RACP Fellow.
* To participate in the provision, development, and maintenance of an effective, efficient, and equitable clinical service to hospital clients; and contribute to the continual improvement of medical education and dissemination of knowledge to staff and clients
* Superannuation - up to 12.75% employer contribution
* Annual leave loading (on four weeks leave) - 17.5%

* Professional development leave 1.6 weeks p.a.

* Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
* Successfully completed the RACP written and clinical examinations or equivalent with RACP certification.
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and, if applicable, registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
* Candidates must provide certified copies of requested proof of identity documents for the purposes of general Criminal History and National Police Certificate checks.
* Declaration of any current, criminal or significant previous disciplinary proceedings or restrictions on clinical practice.
