Aboriginal Support Specialist
This role involves delivering culturally safe and empowering services to First Nations communities, helping to address the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in care.
About the Role:
* Provide comprehensive support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families through tailored case management and community partnerships.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local agencies, carers, and families to establish sustainable support networks.
* Design and deliver culturally inclusive programs promoting healing, resilience, and well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in social work, psychology, or a related discipline.
* In-depth knowledge of child protection frameworks and practices.
* Current driver's licence and National Police Certificate.
