As a volunteer in our radio room, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and contribute to the preservation of maritime history.
1. The Salvor 3 emergency transmitter 500kHz is one of the key pieces of equipment that we work with.
2. We also use the Lifeguard N 500kHz receiver and other devices such as the Commandant NS HF transmitter, Marconi Mercury receiver, JRC General coverage HF receiver and antenna systems.
You do not need extensive technical knowledge or experience - just a genuine interest in learning.
