Your Impact In Role
Strategic Vision & Execution: Shape Uber's game plan for ANZ by aligning strategy with regional teams while maintaining a hands-on approach to troubleshooting city-level challenges and identifying optimisation opportunities.
Scaling & Process Excellence: Drive large-scale initiatives with a focus on implementing scalable processes and best practices that enhance operational efficiency.
Funnel Ownership & Optimisation: Own the driver funnel from sign-up to first trip, running the day-to-day operations, identifying frictions, optimising key touchpoints to increase conversion and reduce time in the funnel.
Stakeholder Leadership: Influence and rally cross-functional business and functional teams toward shared goals, ensuring alignment and measurable impact.
Project Management Expertise: Lead multiple high-impact, complex projects independently, delivering long-term business results.
Creative Problem-Solving: Approach challenges with a solution-driven mindset, leveraging innovation to drive efficiency and unlock new opportunities.
Strong Communication & Influence: Effectively engage with regional and global teams, distilling insights into actionable strategies and driving alignment across stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with relevant teams to shape program vision and roadmaps, ensuring solutions directly address critical business challenges.
The Experience You'll Bring
A strong operator mindset – you diagnose problems quickly, structure ambiguity, and execute with urgency.
Experience in operations, marketplace strategy, CX, analytics, or similar fast-paced environments where you've delivered measurable business impact.
Organised and structured in your approach to problem-solving, communication, and project management.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive alignment.
Ability to work independently, self-manage, and move initiatives forward without constant direction.
Bias for action – resourceful, motivated, and willing to dig into details to unblock progress and ship improvements.
Curious, adaptable, and quick to learn marketplace dynamics and new operational domains.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in BPO operations and/or customer experience.
Exposure to marketplace operations, funnel optimisation, or supply growth initiatives.
Familiarity with automation, workflow tools, or GenAI support tools.
SQL proficiency or willingness to learn quickly.
