We're on the lookout for an exceptional Store Manager to lead our smaller footprint store with a big presence, located in one of Melbourne's most iconic and vibrant inner-city suburbs.

What Success Looks Like

• Deliver sales, profitability and expense targets in line with budgets and KPIs
• Manage store GP performance in line with company expectations
• Execute key business initiatives accurately and on time
• Drive engagement with Petstock's loyalty program through team coaching and in-store execution
• Execute national promotions and maximise private label sales opportunities
• Foster a positive safety culture and strong WHS practices
• Recruit, onboard and develop high-performing team members
• Maintain strong stock management and inventory accuracy
• Keep up to date with pet care, products and services
• Lead and motivate your team through coaching, learning and development opportunities
• Support local marketing initiatives and community partnerships

The Experience & Passion You'll Bring

• Experience in a retail leadership role, or readiness to step up into store management
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build engaged, high-performing teams
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Sound understanding of Work Health & Safety practices
• Commercial and operational business acumen
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic retail environment
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
