Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Anatomical Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to high-quality diagnostic services across a state-wide network.
As a Senior Specialist, you will have the autonomy to work independently, delivering timely and efficient diagnostic and consultation services. Your expertise in frozen section services, MDTs (onsite and remote), and after-hours on-call roster will be invaluable to our organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnostic Services: Deliver high-quality Anatomical Pathology diagnostic and consultation services in a timely and efficient manner.
* Frozen Section Services: Participate in frozen section services, ensuring seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Multidisciplinary Meetings: Attend onsite and remote MDTs, contributing your expertise to improve patient outcomes.
* After-Hours Support: Provide after-hours on-call support, ensuring continuity of service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) or equivalent qualification.
* Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated expertise in Anatomical Pathology and commitment to clinical excellence.
* Familiarity with ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements.
