As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager at Zilor Group, you will lead the strategic planning and delivery of integrated logistics for complex Defence programs. You will develop ILS plans, manage supply chains, ensure materiel readiness, maintain compliance, and directly support Australia's national capability.
We are looking for an experienced logistics professional with a strategic mindset and the ability to act decisively in complex environments. You should be comfortable leading ILS programs and working collaboratively with Defence, project teams, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute integrated logistics solutions for Defence capability lifecycles.
* Plan, procure, sustain, and distribute materiel to meet operational requirements.
* Coordinate with technical teams and senior stakeholders to assure ILS framework delivery.
* Identify risks, implement risk mitigation plans, and deliver viable solutions.
* Lead and mentor logistics teams to achieve ILS maturity.
Qualifications
* Strong logistics planning, procurement, sustainment, and distribution expertise in a Defence context.
* Demonstrated ability to strategise, execute, and assure ILS frameworks across capability lifecycles.
* Excellent communication skills working with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
* Structured problem‐solving approach for risk identification and solution delivery.
* Leadership experience guiding teams toward ILS maturity.
* Security clearance: AGSVA NV1 or above.
Bonus Points
* Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP S/4HANA, CMT‐L or Commonwealth procurement and sustainment systems).
* Qualifications in ILS, engineering, or related disciplines.
* Knowledge of the One Defence Capability System.
Eligibility: Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance.
