Band 3 Role - Salary from $83,108 + Super
Final salary offering to be discussed with the preferred candidate based on skills and experience

TasNetworks is seeking a highly capable and trusted Executive Assistant to provide exceptional executive support to the Project Director of the North West Transmission Developments (NWTD). This role sits at the centre of a fast‑paced, high‑profile major project, ensuring the Project Director is fully supported to deliver the strategic agenda and maintain strong relationships across government, shareholders, stakeholders, and the broader organisation.

You will exercise sound judgement, discretion, and professionalism while managing sensitive information, coordinating complex workflows, and enabling seamless interaction between the Project Director, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board. As a valued partner, you will also lead the Business Support function, ensuring a consistent, customer‑focused, and efficient administrative environment across the project.

This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys balancing competing priorities, and brings a calm, organised, and solutions‑focused approach to executive support.

What you'll do

* Provide high‑level executive support, advice, and coordination for the Project Director
* Manage confidential information, complex workflows, and stakeholder interactions
* Support Executive and Board processes, including meetings, actions, and monthly Board papers
* Lead the Business Support function, ensuring consistent, efficient administrative delivery
* Coordinate project and leadership meetings, including logistics, documentation, and follow‑up
* Oversee administrative tasks such as invoice processing, purchasing card transactions, and contract‑related support
* Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders
About you

You will bring extensive experience providing high‑level executive support to senior leaders and Boards, with the professionalism and discretion required to manage sensitive and confidential information. You are highly organised, customer‑focused, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift quickly and accuracy matters.

You communicate with clarity and confidence, producing high‑quality written material and engaging effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Your strong judgement enables you to make sound decisions in environments of ambiguity and change, and you take pride in delivering outcomes under pressure while maintaining a calm and solutions‑focused approach.
