About the Role

The Incident Management Engineer will play a pivotal role in providing communication, emergency response, technical resolver engagement and incident management for our customers.
\

1. The daily responsibilities will include driving the resolution of large scale customer impacting incidents, driving critical, complex customer escalations and providing critical incident response/management
\
2. The successful candidate will also contribute to Problem Records for customers, conduct continuous real-time proactive monitoring of customer metrics and prioritize, manage, and own emerging and developing customer issues from start to finish
\
3. In addition, the Incident Management Engineer will monitor and manage communications during high impact events via relevant channels, collaborate with key stakeholders across AWS to improve the customer experience and lead projects and remote teams to drive operational improvements
\
4. The role requires identifying and troubleshooting recurring platform issues and owning projects to drive improvements, mentoring peers in your areas of technical and operational strength and performing other duties as required by the organisation
