About the role

We are looking for a strong Intermediate Consultant or a newlyappointed Senior Consultant to join our Compliance and Outsourcingteam. You will be responsible for managing, developing, and administering a portfolio of SW's clients under the direction of the Manager/Director.


Key responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of outsourced client groups, including reviewing monthly management accounts and overseeing day to day processing of transactions by the outsourcing
* Review fortnightly and monthly payrolls, including executive salaries and salary sacrifice arrangements
* Complete financial accounts, tax returns, business activity statements, and instalment activity statements
* Prepare and analyse standard management reports forclients
* Complete workpapers to the quality standards set by the Division
* Provide feedback, guidance, and support to junior teammembers, including acting as a buddy where required
* Prepare budgets and bills for services rendered


Key skills and experience

* Minimum of 18 months to 3 years' experience in a Business Services environment within a Chartered or CPA accounting practice
* Degree qualified and have commenced CA or CPA studies
* Exposure to tax issues
* Technically proficient and demonstrate an interest inexpanding knowledge of taxation law and accounting developments
* Exposure to the fundamentals of banking and bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing is desirable
* Ability to support and guide junior staff members, including acting as a buddy when required
* Capability to identify any issues for discussion with the appropriate Manager
* Good time management skills and be ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
* Present professionally and possess excellent interpersonaland communication skills which will be consistently used indealings with clients, partners and staff members
* Experience with APS, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Employment Hero payroll experience is desirable
