Retrofit professionals play a vital role in shaping a more sustainable future by developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

* Contribute to the development of regional growth strategies, sales plans, and continuous improvement projects.
* Serve as the primary point of contact and technical consultant for the sales team or end-user/customer on all retrofit inquiries and related activities within assigned regions.
* Create account/region plans for delivering growth of retrofit opportunities in allocated sales territories using technical knowledge and customer market requirements as drivers.
* Foster collaboration with local regional sales teams to work in-line with strategic plans to identify opportunities and drive them through to order award.
* Participate in the Rolling Forecast (RFC) process for nominated sales territories in collaboration with regional sales and service managers/directors.
* Achieve and exceed local and regional objectives for retrofit projects set during planning.
* Drive initiatives within assigned sales territories to promote the identification of retrofit opportunities through tasks such as technical forums, health checks, asset reviews, customer visits, internal training sessions, etc.
* Maintain effective client relationships, build trust, and manage processes to positively influence clients and create a predisposition to view us as the preferred source of supply.
* Utilize the customer relationship management (CRM) system and log contacts, calls, and visit reports within the system.
* Complete competitor analysis on retrofit strengths on a yearly basis to support sales identification and drive sales strategies.
* Maintain knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, technologies, and leading customer strategies, especially in relation to the retrofit and re-rate business.
* Develop and review proposals and support the overall proposal process.
* Ensure smooth handover meetings and documentation result in a seamless transition from pre-to-post-order status.
* Attend sales meetings and ensure relevant information from assigned areas is available for the sales team.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Expertise in sales/tendering/applications/mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management (highly desirable).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, supervisory experience, negotiation and influence, SAP, PC computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft office programs, ability to motivate subordinates, time management, industry and supplier network, understanding of competition offerings, knowledge and understanding of cultures within the region.
