**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
- Analyse market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.
- Monitor and report on procurement metrics, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
