Role Overview

The Executive Support Officer role sits within the office of the Director of Allied Health at Hospitals and Primary Care South. This office supports the operations of Allied Health Services, encompassing 10 departments, and provides skilled governance for the full range of Allied Health Professions at Hospitals South. The role enables senior leadership to focus on strategic priorities while ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Manage electronic diaries, schedule appointments, and organise meeting requirements.
- Research, collect, and collate data, information and briefing materials; collate papers and coordinate complex documentation.
- Prepare reports, briefings, notes and assorted correspondence.
- Address enquiries and handle highly confidential information.
- Provide support for credentialing of Allied Health staff statewide, liaising with professionals and managing the credentialing system.
- Provide executive support to the Office of the EDAH committees, including preparation, coordination and quality assurance of meeting papers, minute taking, action delivery, preparation of correspondence and scheduling of meetings, and supporting governance of these committees.

Appointment Details

- Permanent full‑time, day worker position.
- Working 76 hours per fortnight (hours subject to negotiation).
- Commencement date 18 January 2026.
- Selection process may also fill subsequent vacancies for the next 12 months.

Salary

- $73,811 to $79,779 per annum, plus 12% superannuation contribution, in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
- Salary packaging available: living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other eligible benefits.
