We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Software Developer for our business unit, Information and Technology Partners (ITP).
You'll play a vital role in supporting and developing business applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 technologies for the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) and its partner agencies.
Responsibilities
Build, maintain, enhance, and test Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications aligned with departmental standards and architecture, ensuring they meet performance benchmarks and service level agreements.
Apply problem-solving strategies to identify, analyse, evaluate, and implement effective solutions.
Provide insights on service requests and enhancements, balancing feasibility and design.
Play an active role in incident, change, and release management processes across a diverse portfolio of applications.
Stay ahead of emerging ICT technologies to meet evolving organisational needs.
Share knowledge and contribute to team growth and innovation.
Maintain system documentation to support best-practice operations.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, where ethical practices, workplace safety, equity, and diversity are valued.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform capabilities.
Experience with configuration, customisation, development patterns and tools.
Data modelling and management expertise.
DevOps practices including version control and CI/CD.
Ideal Candidate
Knowledge across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience delivering projects within standards and timeframes.
Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies – desirable.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications or a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline – desirable.
