In the heart of Hervey Bay, The Bayswater Bar & Grill is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate Duty Manager to join the team as we gear up for another busy period.
Our vibrant, multifaceted venue is the ideal place for an aspiring Duty Manager to learn the ropes from some of the best in the business. This is a hands‐on role where no two days are the same. You'll gain experience across multiple departments, including functions, restaurant, gaming, and sports bar operations.
We're looking for someone who brings proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue, along with exceptional customer service and presentation skills. You'll be confident leading from the floor, supporting the team, and maintaining high service standards across the venue.

Responsibilities
* Lead and support staff across multiple departments including functions, restaurant, gaming and sports bar operations
* Maintain high service standards and ensure excellent customer experience at all times
* Develop and execute operational procedures and ensure policies and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated
* Train and develop staff to deliver a consistently amazing customer experience
* Execute duties while maintaining a working environment that promotes teamwork and leadership from the front
* Ensure compliance with RSA, RSG, RMLV, and other relevant licensing requirements and have an approved Managers license
Qualifications
* Minimum of two years of experience in a comparable duty manager role
* Demonstrated knowledge of TAB and wagering
* Experience in operations management across a multi‐faced venue
* Strong customer service and presentation skills
* Ability to lead from the floor while supporting the team
* Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
* Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers license
* CLO – desirable, not necessary
