Job Title: Assistant Manager
Job Description
Karuah RSL Club is a well-established and thriving club, located in the heart of Karuah. As the club continues to evolve, they are looking for a motivated and capable Assistant Manager to support operations, drive efficiencies, and help lead the team into the future.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role will see you involved in the day-to-day running of the club across a broad range of functions. You'll also play a key role in modernising systems and supporting strategic initiatives.
This is a full-time role, with flexibility to work across a seven day roster if needed. You'll join a passionate team that values community and continuous improvement - making a real impact in a close-knit regional setting.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with financial oversight and reporting
2. Supporting membership services and administration
3. Leading IT system updates and integration
4. Overseeing operational activities alongside the CEO
5. Supporting the CEO in developing and delivering strategic initiatives
6. Contributing to marketing and promotions
7. Helping to develop and implement club policies
8. Supporting Human Resources functions and stepping in as relief CEO when needed
The Ideal Candidate
We're seeking an individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Confidence working with IT systems and introducing new technologies is also required.
