Nurse Practitioner - Tertiary Hospital
Seeking a motivated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatal Transition to Nurse Practitioner program at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children.
This leadership role offers the chance to shape the future of neonatal nursing through expert care alongside neonatal registrars in a cutting-edge, family-centred environment. The successful candidate will be part of a passionate team committed to excellence in newborn care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver expert care to patients in the NICU, SCN, delivery and retrieval services;
* Participate in the development of the Neonatal Transition to Nurse Practitioner program;
* Collaborate with neonatal registrars and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes;
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department;
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse in the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) register;
* Postgraduate qualification in Nursing or a related field;
* Relevant experience in a tertiary hospital setting, preferably in a neonatal unit;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
