As a Coordinator, Digital Library, reporting to Head of Digital Library Services, you will: Lead the team responsible for digital library infrastructure and maintain and develop digital library solutions that are fit for purpose and well-integrated with enterprise systems.
Ensure the Library's website and other online interfaces meet user needs.
Manage library projects, including developing communications and training plans that ensure the adoption of new technologies.
Contribute to strategic and operational planning and provide advice and recommendations to service owners about improvement opportunities.
Represent the Library on a range of internal and external groups.
About you In addition to having a passion for what you do, you will be A qualified library and information management professional with leadership experience and a strong focus on the application of technology to improve user experience and staff productivity.
You can confidently engage with a range of stakeholder groups and implement change via formalised projects and continuous improvement.
A skilled collaborator with a track record of working across organisational boundaries and with the ability to navigate in a complex environment.
As a supervisor, you care about developing your staff as individuals and you foster a positive team culture in which staff support, inform, motivate and challenge each other.
What we offer Base Salary Hew 8 in the range of $, - $, per annum plus 17% Superannuation.
The salary including superannuation is in the range $, -$, per annum.
This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at our Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus.
As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples Qualifications You hold Library and/or information management postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or, extensive experience and management expertise; or, an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
