This international Tier 1 Oil & Gas drilling contractor has been in operation for over 30 years. They have grown to be one of the world's largest and advanced organisations that have a strong international presence, have built a solid reputation by their reliable performance, superior services and their ability to outperform competitors. Due to unprecedented growth in Australia and multiple contracts won with multi-billion dollar organisations, they are in demand for an experienced mechanic to manage and maintain the fleet of heavy vehicles and trailers.
The Position
The Mechanic oversees and maintains an effective fleet maintenance program that prolongs the life of the fleet of trucks and trailers, ensures safe operation of all equipment and completes repairs in a timely manner. The role is ongoing/fulltime and 3:3 week on/off rosters, mobilisation from your nearest capital city.
Qualifications, Tickets and Licences
Must have auto mechanic qualification and experience, diesel mechanic preferred
Microsoft office experience
Excellent knowledge of trucks (Kenworth) and trailers
Knowledge of requirements to run mass management system (NHVR)
Managing breakdown situations
