Customer Service Officer

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate Arrival and Despatch: Ensure that fertilisers are dispatched and received in a timely manner, while maintaining accurate records.
* Conduct Inductions and Training: Provide training on despatch systems and ensure that new team members are up-to-date with the latest procedures.
* Manage Appointments and Compliance: Coordinate appointments and ensure compliance with loading guidelines.
* Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate customer and vehicle records, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
* Champion Safety Culture: Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
* A background in customer service or a related field, with a strong focus on integrity and communication.
* Excellent phone manner and overall communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A high level of attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised, with strong organisational skills.
* Experience using computerised sales systems and proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Strong problem-solving capability and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Ability to handle a high volume of work and challenging situations, with flexibility to work in a rotating shift roster.
* Strong mathematical skills and experience working in the transport industry is highly regarded.
