The Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will lead the accounts team and own the finance function across all entities.
What You'll Be Doing
* Overseeing month‐end close and consolidated management reporting across three trading entities in MYOB and other related entities
* Leading and developing a small accounts team – setting direction, coaching and jumping in when needed
* Managing payroll end‐to‐end, payroll liabilities and industry award compliance
* Building and maintaining cash‐flow forecasts, financial models, and loan/equipment finance schedules
* Reviewing commercial contracts and supporting the Director with pricing decisions and cost‐recovery frameworks
* Coordinating with external accountants for BAS, tax and year‐end obligations
* Documenting processes, improving systems, and keeping the finance function tight and reliable
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years in a finance management or senior bookkeeping role. CA/CPA qualification or solid practical experience that speaks for itself.
* Proven experience leading a team and getting results through people.
* Hands‐on MYOB experience.
* Strong Excel skills – you build the models, you don't just use them.
* Payroll management experience and working knowledge of STP compliance.
* Ability to communicate across all business units, with a sound, can‐do attitude.
* Resilient personality and good sense of humour.
