Location - Canberra, ACT Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 19 months The role closes on 27th January 2026 The ILS Officer is to: Lead or participate in ILS-related working groups and mandated system reviews for acquisition deliverables. Liaise with internal Defence stakeholders and external industry partners to ensure alignment of acquisition activities with program objectives. Maintain accurate records of acquisition deliverables and contribute to reporting requirements. All other tasks as directed. Addition to the defined responsibilities of the position, the following requirements of this position are considered fundamental to the ILS Officer: All other tasks as directed by the ILS Manager or Deputy ILS Manager. Minimum 5 years' experience in ILS, preferably in acquisition and sustainment environments. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to interpret complex contractual and technical requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
