Technical Sales Representative - Direct Sales, Keysborough, Victoria, Australia, Manufacturing, Chemicals
Responsibilities
* Achieving and exceeding sales and budget targets.
* Increasing market penetration, market share, and coverage.
* Assisting in preparing project proposals with the Target Market Manager.
* Participating in internal/external training and trade events.
* Monitoring competitor activities and maintaining lists of potential customers.
* Identifying new business opportunities in construction markets.
* Providing product specifications, demonstrations, and after-sales service, including updates and complaint assistance.
* Recording customer interactions and quotations in Salesforce.
* Conducting regular site visits and field trial material testing.
* Complying with sales, pricing, and expense policies.
* Issuing technical information/advice per current guidelines.
* Reporting changes to product/project forecasts, monthly expenses, and End of Month Reports to the Target Market Manager.
Your expertise - Our strength
* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role.
* Analytical, organized, energetic, and resilient in sales efforts.
* Excellent customer relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
* Three years’ experience in managing key accounts within construction markets.
* Competent team player who can work autonomously, with a strong aptitude for marketing and sales.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
