The Role
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated leader to join our City Assets department as Coordinator Roads Operations. You will develop strategies to ensure efficient, compliant operations, and lead a skilled team to meet maintenance and project needs.
Position Details
This is a permanent full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a multi-skilled team, provide advice, analyze work, and guide team members.
Respond promptly to customer requests with accurate information.
Set targets, monitor performance, and report monthly to the Manager.
Review tenders, administer contracts, and oversee projects.
Utilize maintenance systems for assets and plan works accordingly.
Prioritize maintenance activities based on asset management objectives.
Provide technical advice on maintenance and future planning of civil assets.

Candidate Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil preferred) or extensive relevant experience.
Current Class C Driver’s License.
At least 5 years of leadership experience in civil construction/maintenance.
Strong knowledge of roads & infrastructure and industry awareness.
Experience in asset management, contract management, and budgeting.
Project management and supervision experience.
Experience working with government organizations and stakeholder management.
Salary and Benefits
Starting at $122,553 (Grade J Step 1) plus Car Allowance and 11.5% super. Salary negotiable based on experience.
