Pastry Leader
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pastry Leader to join our team. This is a full-time position that will involve leading the pastry kitchen, managing staff, and maintaining high-quality desserts for both fine dining and banquets.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in pastry kitchen operations and a Certificate IV in Patisserie or equivalent. They will also have strong organizational skills, be calm under pressure, and have a hands-on approach to service.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with managing a team, prior experience in a luxury hotel or high-end venue, and deep technical knowledge and creativity in contemporary and classic patisserie.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the pastry kitchen team and oversee daily operations
* Develop and implement new dessert menus and specials
* Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and safety in the pastry kitchen
* Train and develop team members to achieve their full potential
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A Certificate IV in Patisserie or equivalent
* At least 3-5 years of experience in pastry kitchen operations
* Strong organizational and leadership skills
* Experience with managing a team
* Prior experience in a luxury hotel or high-end venue
