About your new role
A Government agency in NSW is seeking multiple Customer Service Officers to deliver support services essential for the department’s operations. Ideal candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume contact centre environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality customer service through strong customer engagement in a high-volume contact centre environment
* Handle customer enquiries promptly and courteously, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
* Identify, refer, and assign non-standard and more complex enquiries to a Centre of Expertise for action and resolution
* Maintain current knowledge of policy, legislation, and related business processes to efficiently and effectively respond to customer needs
* Maintain accurate data records in a customer management system, ensuring timely resolution of enquiries and adherence to Contact Centre KPIs
* Confidently use multiple technology platforms and databases
What you will need
* Ability to work on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday between 8:00am to 6:00pm
* High quality customer service experience
* Previous experience in a call centre or customer service role
* Ability to communicate effectively and solve problems.
* Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Outlook and Teams
* Comfortable with working remotely on a hybrid working model
* Live in the Newcastle/Central Coast or Hunter Regions you may be required to attend the office
