What You Will Be Doing
As a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing export logistics to ensure seamless and compliant international shipments. Your duties will include preparing all export shipping documentation, arranging third-party carriers, and monitoring shipments from dispatch to delivery. You will handle all aspects of freight coordination, including negotiating ILCs and SBLCs, maintaining detailed records, and assisting with tenders and freight requests.
This role is highly customer-focused, requiring regular communication with clients and overseas offices to coordinate export shipments via courier, air, FCL, LCL, or OOG, while ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation using SAP. You will also ensure all goods are packed appropriately for international transport and meet export compliance requirements.
What You Will Need
35 years experience in export or freight operations
Strong knowledge of customs and freight forwarding processes
Advanced negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
High-level customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Experience With SAP Or Other Export Systems
Forklift licence (desirable)
