A leading Federal Government agency is seeking a skilled Test Data Analyst to support enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. This critical role sits within a data-driven branch delivering high-quality analytics and performance insights. The successful Test Data Analyst will be offered an initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Test Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Developing test plans and test cases mapped to requirements, test strategies, and delivery methodologies
* Conducting detailed data, functional, and system integration testing including validation of data completeness and accuracy
* Writing test reports, defect summaries, and coordinating with developers, BAs, SMEs, and vendors to resolve issues
* Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitating defect triage processes
The successful Test Data Analyst will have experience in the following:
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in data quality analysis, testing, and validation
* Expertise in data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and SQL (intermediate to advanced level)
* Strong test case development and documentation skills
* Familiarity with JIRA for test tracking and defect management (desirable)
* Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
